AWWWW!

I couldn't believe it when I saw this picture... does he look like Henn henn or what?!! Amazing huh!

Here's more CHEEKies... really want to cubit the pipi.

Focus on Being

During a small-group exercise at a seminar, the group was asked to introduce themselves without referring to their occupations. The challenge was to explain who they are instead of telling what they do. It was not easy to focus on being instead of doing.
Dr. William H. Thomas, a geriatric specialist, has pointed out that babies begin life by being. As we approach adulthood, the emphasis shifts to accomplishment. Then, as we grow older and our energy wanes, we must refocus on being. “Elderhood brings us full circle,” Thomas says, “to a life that favors being over doing. This is a gift of great value.”
We can't help but live in the race of our lives. Most people would agree that they live to work, work to pay bills, pay bills to sustain their livinghood and comfort, and then they can focus on what they want to do in life. But we will never finish paying our bills as long as we live, so when can that eventual dream come true? And in that race, we sometimes forget who we ARE, and focus on what we DO,DO,DO and what we need to DO. In reality not many people have the luxury to focus on themselves because of various commitments around them, but amidst hardship, some learn to also take care of their spiritual selves and that is one of the most useful survival skill in this fast and ever-changing world. I think being is being happy.

Photography- Unedited

Allow me to impress you with some artistic photos... or not. Sim's favourite subjects are flowers, and mine shall be Daniel, who moves a lot, thus presents a tough challenge. So, Sim, when Henn Henn starts moving non-stop, let me in on some photography tips. So far, here are some pictures which I think can make the cut for National Geographic's Photo of the Year...or not.

As close as I can get. Not bad siah considering it was taken in a moving car, and you know how shitty are JB roads. The long lashes are courtesy of Paul's genes. I need fake lashes or lots of mascara for the similar effect. Look closer, NO PORES! *envy*

This picture speaks movements. You can tell that Daniel moved swiftly and his tongue is going to swing out. I had no time to practise the art of panning, like those techniques you use at a race where your subject moves at the speed of light, and you capture it's still image and the background is blurry. I will wait till Daniel runs at the speed of light, then I can make use of this opportunity to pan.

This materpiece here illustrates distance and space, and his triumph in grabbing my camera. I used the 'continuous mode', where you click and hold, and the camera keeps capturing images until you release the button. So cool! usually there'll be at least one good picture out of say.. ten. Ah... bless today's technology.

Keep a lookout for the next Photography-Unedited episode folks!

Shoe Madness!

Yah, I went mad. Why? Jusco sale! 3 pairs of new shoes at half price. Xiao xiao xiao!

It's not about the shoes. They represent the rare freedom I had, which is, a day entirely for myself. No work, no 10kg moving bag of rice clung to my hips, no housechores, no nothing. Just a day of leisure where time is endless, and your world revolves around what you want and nothing else. That, my friends, is rare freedom. And I celebrated it with 3 pairs of shoes...and a bag, and a top. Hehehe. Quality shopping spree is the true retail therapy, so womenfolk, try this, deprive yourself for almost one year, then launch yourself into the shopping mall one day, particularly during hot sale season. It's better than sex.

I'm One!

Hello everybody! I am one! Woo hooo! I can get my driver's license in 17 years time.
On my birthday, Dada and Mama got me a nice big chocolate cake, but mama ate 80% of it because it was so delicious. They sang me a birthday song and blew my candle too because I don't know how to. But I was very fascinated with the flame on the candle.

After my nap, we all went to Jusco Tebrau City and I had loads of fun on the kiddie ride park.

Then for the first time, I entered a paradise... TOYS R US! I 've never seen so many colourful things before! Even dada and mama were fascinated too, I think they want to play too. Dada thinks I will develop good rhythm, so he bought me a ... *drum roll*

Bom bom bom bom bom CHING! Woo hoo! I'm a rockstar! Well, it was a great day, not because of the presents, but because dada and mama spent my birthday with me :)

Good night folks and thank you all for your wonderful presents!!

Daniel's New Haircut

Took him to a salon to have his haircut. He sat on my lap, the hairdresser wrap him with the 'plastic protector', but in the end both of us still covered with his hair. He didn't squirm at all, not bad siah! He was just very curious at everything, kept staring at the pretty cheh-cheh trimming his hair.... hahhaha. And then, ta-da! Daniel's new look, the Schoolboy-Boy-Scout look! Look so decent right... hahahaha

Aiwah, as sweet as ever, Waihar still as Waihar, Aikkia and LayHoon still not holding hands in front of us... why so pai seh, ka kee nang mah. Anyway, it was a warm, simple, light-hearted gathering. We gotta do this more often yah!

What goes up...won't come down

What does the '0' means? No consumption at all? I don't understand this table. No explanation summore. And gahmen think we stupid or what... the tariff raise that affects the manufacturing sector like factories and plants, will eventually result in increased price for everything under the sun, just like what the fuel price hike did. Dare to say it won't affect the low and medium income group. Bunch of lying morons who treat us like we're stupid and 'grateful that gahmen is such a considerate and loving leaders'. Tsk tsk tsk shameless *beep beep beep*

Life's Woes

As I sit here and ponder over my future, I think about the five of the universal law that can help me through difficult times, and I would like to share with you.
1. This, too, shall pass.
Nothing stays the same. The only constant in life is change. With every decision we make, we initiate change. Even when we decide not to decide, life still goes on, and changes still occur. When we are in a state of discomfort, sadness, grief, or pain, we know that because life goes on, change will bring us some kind of relief. And because even comfort, happiness, and all good things also pass, we know that we need to appreciate and cherish each precious, fleeting moment.

2. Time heals.
The timepiece of life never stops. Neither does it pause for those who celebrate, speed up for those who are impatient, nor slow down for those who fear tomorrow. Time ticks a regular rhythm that steadily brings new moments, new days, and new seasons. As time pushes forward, we take new steps, face new challenges, and create new opportunities. And as life goes on, we are forced to move past our episodes of disappointment, sorrow, or despair. More than anything else, time heals not just broken bones but broken hearts as well.

3. Ask, and you shall receive.
People won't know what you want unless you ask for it. Dreams and goals are just wishes until you act on them, and acting on them often requires that you ask for answers, for assistance, or for something tangible. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help, but when you come forward, only then will the world know what to give you. Just ask and know that miracles can happen.

4. You can have anything, but not everything.
Life offers us infinite possibilities. With hard work, determination, and perseverance, we can achieve anything. If we are willing to pay the price and go the extra mile, we can have whatever our hearts desire. But no matter how hard we try, we can't have everything . Life is a balancing act of wins, losses, and trade-offs... we gain some and we lose some.

5. What goes around comes around.
It's the universal law of nature: do to others what you want others to do to you, because whatever you sow, you reap; whatever you give, you get back ten-fold. It doesnt hurt to smile, or be kind, or extend a helping hand. You never know when or how, but every act of goodness always returns to the GIVER. Give one today and receive ten tomorrow.

I am ready to face my world, mummy. But for now, please change my diaper, I think I just pooped.

Happy Mother's Day

Sorry, a bit belated... Happy Mother's Day to all moms. Daniel gave me a big wet kiss, and a diaper full of shit...hahaha. I brought my mommy dearest and the little barb to Ikea on Saturday, then came back and went out for dinner again at Jusco, Tebrau City. Met up with Aiwah and her colleagues. Daniel received his first birthday gift from Aiwah CHEH-CHEH, a cool sportscar! (will load pictures next week) He doesn't know how to push with his legs yet, but he lifts his legs and rest them on top when I push the car for him... wah, so lazy! Anyway, Paul went back to Seremban to have dinner with his mom, who end up cooking because the restaurants outside were so packed. My mom thinks I should've went back together, but knowing her, if I really did that, she will be disappointed and the "ya la, other mothers are more important now la" will start. Ally smart now...hehehe. Anyway, I know nothing can make it up to mom-in-law, but I hope Lo Hong Ka Bird's Nest will make her happy. Besides, it won't be long before we make another visit :)

Ally's Vision Became Blurry

In view of recent speculation, I will have to put my plan on hold for now. Paul's eventual destiny is Kuala Lumpur, should there be an opening. This may happen in 6 months... or 6 years, who knows, but what if it's the former. I don't want short commitment here. So how? Work till end of the year, get bonus first? In the meantime, I have to find a way to find time. If only my little bard could say this "It's ok, mummy, go to work, I will be fine".... awww.

Ally Eyeing On Palm Oil & Biofuel Industry

"Malaysian firms well-positioned to be big time players

MALAYSIA is poised to be a significant global player in the production of biofuel, going forward.

Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry general manager Thomas Brandt said the potential for Malaysian companies to venture into palm based biodiesel production was tremendous – catering not only for domestic but also for the export market.

He told StarBiz in Kuala Lumpur that palm oil would likely be one of the major components in the production of biodiesel especially with increasing fossil energy prices and the finite nature of fossil resources, which suggested the usage of alternatives and biofuels.

Currently, rapeseed and soybean oils are the two main raw materials for the production of biodiesel in the world.

Today, Germany is the biggest producer and user of biofuels within Europe and has a leading position in the field of biofuel production using rapeseed, soybean and palm oil. Malaysia is the world's largest producer and exporter of palm oil, accounting for 47% of global output and 54% of world exports last year. "

This is it, man..I can feeeeeel it. I need a good photo for my resume. Do you think I look good in pink?

Ally's First Resume in 6 Years

It is a scary transition. In fact, any major life-changing transition is scary. But i must do this. I wrote my first resume in 6 years. I had to search for an example in the web, and found this website for writing resumes. Simple and straight to the point, should be that way, right? Though under my 'Work Experience', there is only one content, but I should be proud of the number 6.
I've been so blessed all this time. Starting my first job as a fresh grad wasn't very stressful because I was already familiar with the job and the people, and plus, I had a companion, good 'ol Seok Shin our coursemate, as a roomie. So much memories. Anyway, I sent my resume to two companies specialising in palm oil and oleochemicals, in Pasir Gudang. Then I realize I did not include my phone number. Big joke right. Never mind, practise practise practise. In the meantime, I will look for new entrees in jobstreet.com, and my logic devil is still yelling at me.

Traffic Lights in Our Lives

Not many people put up this face when they have to stop at the red traffic light. We encounter 'red lights' everyday, in our daily lives; on the road, in the bank, at work, at home, in our wallets and in our dream towards better times. I find myself coming back to the same traffic junction time after time, and I'm starting to appreciate the red light. It gives me time to look around and to rest my nerves, instead of going fast-forward all the time, chasing after one another and beating the crowd (desides, we ARE the crowd) Sometimes this red light seem to ask me "Would you like to try a different route this time? Maybe you'll find the better times" *harp plays* But it is human nature to stick with the familiar. I will never get out of this cycle. Right now I'm feeling this impulse to quit my job and go back to JB to work. That's what the red light is asking me too. Should I risk it? I know there won't be a U-turn ahead. Then again, some logic devil is yelling at me "Are you mad? What can JB offer you? Your life will go downhill from here!" That's not true. The light is turning green soon, where will I go? Do I have the guts?

Seremban Weekend

We went back to Seremban last weekend, brought the little barb to City Park where joggers can jog, walkers can walk, rollerbladers can rollerblade, 'kiters' can play kites and children can..well, er..play and somersault everywhere literally. It's a very big park, rather new, jogging path surrounds a big lake where people can feed koi fishes and enjoy the view. Nice place to hang out in the evening for the whole family, especially the little ones.

Good Friday Weekend

I would say this is by far the Best-Behaved Daniel weekend. It was like a miracle, like he is a changed man. Maybe his teething doesn't hurt as much anymore. He drank his milk on time without squirming around, he took his nap on time and dozed off rather quickly without having mummy to walk around the house for 15 minutes or more, and he played with his toys, sometimes on his own. I feel we're starting to connect with each other, like there was this time he was chewing a peeled apple, and he was playing games with me.. he handed me the apple, and I pretended to take a bite, he quickly pulled back the apple and laughed, like he succeeded to trick me... the only chore was that i have to repeat that game a million times, but he was still laughing... sigh, aren't babies so simple... hahaha. Oh please, let me have more of these weekends!

You are my sunshine

The 'antique' baby stroller is really cool huh. Courtesy of my uncle who apparently look all over JB for it, and not cheap man! About RM80 for the 70's pram. Now, the pram is 'inherited' by Daniel, from his kau foo Ivan who just turned 5.

Water baby

On Saturday, we brought our little barb to the pool. After a couple of minutes being fascinated and stunned by the 'feel' of the pool water, he started flapping his arms and splashing the water, then crawl, then stand while supporting himself at the side, and cruising to the deeper end, while splashing. This fella loves the water! He had so much fun and was probably over-tired that he had nightmares that night, woke up several times from 5am to 7am, crying, then going back to sleep as if nothing happened... Could be due to the teething as well, his upper 'rabbit' teeth is growing out, and he's been drooling and biting everything. Also, since last weekend, we've witnessed his first unsupported stand. It's amazing, how babies learn all these skills which we take for granted. :)

Pohm pohm

I love bath time! But mummy haven't took a photo of me playing in the water because the camera might get wet. Mummy also always get wet... kakakkakaka! I feel so fresh! Now mummy have a hard time putting on my diaper and clothes because I never stop crawling all over the place, she smack my backside but I don't care. Next time I run around the house naked and mummy have to chase me, la la la la la!

Don't Lose Faith, Just Lose Hope

Every now and then the gahmen agencies make overnight policies and announce to the public... just for fun, maybe work overtime can get OT pay. Also, every now and then, gahmen agencies announce one good news to make up for two bad news, just for fun. Or maybe the good news is to 'smoke' the bad news. "Fuel price increase"= @#%&^!... then "Car price drop! Yipppeee!"...then "Higher financing rates"=@#$%&! Let's face it good people of Malaya, we lost, we always lose. But never lose faith. And there are gahmen officers who are also anal-retentive, yes, I said ANAL. This Norfiza woman at MPK (Klang) should sit on the wheelchair for a week before being ANAL to a disabled woman who has to pay parking fines. Dah lah, it's already so difficult for a disabled person to live in this disabled-unfriendly country, she has to pay fine! The public relations officer isn't doing so well with the public I see.. should change title to Anal Officer. I think the disabled should be exempted from certains things, so the Majlis Perbandaran Kah-cheng should reconsider amending their policies.
I wish I could write this to the papers, but don't think they accept words like anal and kah cheng, but the words suit them SOOOOOOO perfectly.

Today Is Behind-Slow-People Day

Don't you hate slow drivers who don't realize they are hogging the road, leaving a trail cars behind them? They are the ones who cause traffic congestion! Let's face it, the world is getting faster, things moving faster, prices going up faster, babies are learning faster too. Then there's this group of people who cannot catch up on the road, but hey, still want to drive on the over-taking lane, and some who can really test your patience on a single lane main road. Well, this is how it works now, the fast ones think "Why is that stupid @#$% driver so slow!", and the slow ones think "What is the hurry? Take it easy lah". This is what you get when you have old people with not-so-good vision, young people with drive and raging hormones, people who are late, and people who just want to jalan-jalan makan angin on the same road. Like it or not, the slow ones live longer and has the last laugh... boo hooo hooo

Of Mums and Babies

As parents grow older, they become more like babies. As I have discovered over the years, my mommy dearest and I have our countless encounters of little fights. And I always wonder, who is the petty one? Who is the sensitive one? Who is the UNreasonable one? Who started it? And we take days of silent who-gonna-call-who-first approach before one of us initiate dinner. This sounds like a couple fighting and making up. But in this case, I have to be the one to pujuk right? Of course, needless to say. So who is the baby now? I guess life is like a cycle. I'm going to be a baby down the road, and Daniel is going to hate me... like the saying, "You're not a parent until your kid hates you" I really don't know what to do sometimes, and I feel bad even when I'm convinced I did nothing wrong. I feel like an evil heartless ingrate deserve to burn in hell. But why did my parents' problems became mine? Why do I have to carry the luggage of your past folly? One good thing I've learnt is, bear the consequences of whatever decision and action I do, don't regret doing something, don't blame it on everybody else, and let the past go. She's still hanging on to her past, and has so much angst inside, she'll never be happy and content. And I've been hanging on with her, I'm getting tired, I need to let go and live my life too. But deep down I want to be by her side and make her happy...

Pirates Ahoy!

Company Dinner Party, Pirates Theme@Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa. What a pity, me hubbie and me did not have the chance to explore Sentosa Island because we reached when the event was about to start. Next time, we'll bring Daniel when he is older, especially to the UnderwaterWorld and the dolphin shows. Our table was the luckiest I think, we grabbed 4 lucky draw prizes, including the 3rd and 2nd... 3rd prize was iPod nano that went to my colleague, 2nd prize was Panasonic DVD recorder and player that went to *drum rollllllll* me hubbie! Not bad siah, the prizes getting interesting by the year. Of course cannot compare to those multinasional firms where first prize is trip for two to Africa. Anyway, the games, the food, the performances were fun and I hope there will be a party next year too!

Can anyone else beat this specimen of perfection? Once in a blue moon, nature does some fiiiiine work, and bless us womenfolk with something as delicious as this to feast our eyes. Enjoy... Guys, don't feel bad, it's natural selection.

Korean drama fever

If you have time to burn, or no time to burn, I recommend these korean drama series to watch, Full House and My Lovely Sam Soon. The characters are so funny and real, not to mention gorgeeooouuuus! But the language is hard to pick up since they speak fast, so subtitles is a must. The lead actor in Full House is called Rain/Bi, and is a hot singer, R&B style, has a very good and sexy voice. The soundtrack of Full House ( at least 3 songs in there ) are rather addictive too. Currently, my hubbie and I are chasing My Lovely Sam Soon. God, one of the actors in there is ****ing gorgeous! I've never seen such a good-looking species! So, if you have the chance, do catch. You won't regret it I promise.

My exciting weekend

Daddy mummy took me to Euro Fun Fair on Friday night, wow, so many colourful lights everywhere!! Too bad mummy forgot the camera (she getting old already). Mummy took me to sit on a choo choo train that went round and round, then on the merry-go-round that also went round and round, then on the ferris wheel with daddy too. The air up there is so cool! After that I dozed off on daddy's shoulder. While I was in slumberland despite the loud music, daddy played dart games and won a Mr.Bean bear for me. It was fun, next time I want to ride in that giant swing that flings people up and down like King Kong.

My Second Home

I sit here my whole life. Well, it feels like forever sometimes. Many of my most intense thoughts take place here as I wait for my data files to load. I think about life, I think about my loved ones and I think about the cute bag at Jusco Tebrau City.
Everyone's bitching about everyone and everything, I'm bitching about it too, then at times, I stop... to think about.... the cute bag at Jusco Tebrau City. This is it, our lives are driven by wants... and of course bills, bills, bills. And lives clash with each other, let's accept it, be it neighbours, rude drivers, slow drivers, intellectually-efficiency-challenged service providers, ex-lovers, your own mother, anyone, lives will twist around. Isn't it wonderful.
Just a thought, and a tribute to my comfort zone... hmm, that cute bag at Jusco Tebrau City...

Mega Feast

My in-laws keep bugging us to go back to Seremban because of this dish. Must eat together with a lot of people. Not bad, but hubbie and sis-in-law's boyfriend lao sai the next day... too tonic. It starts with prawns, mushrooms, 'yee piu', on the top layer and as you go along, you find more new things inside, like chicken meat, sliced abalone, mini scallops, roast pork, clams, forgot the rest, all simmered in a gigantic claypot. I wonder if this is a new dish, never heard before, I think it's called something like "poon choi". As usual, Daniel the rubbish truck sapu a bit, just rice and the tonic gravy and some minced scallop. Sluurrrrrp!

MOS!

We got to meet up finally, at MOS burger, something new for AiWah, hey. Next time, we'll go to Holland Village to try out the food scenes...hehehe. Food glorious food! But I'm still skinny as ever, got cacing, no, got ular sawa in my stomach. Gosh, I'm bored with my hairstyle, heck, it has no style to start with! Must go for treatment already...

Am I Wild or What

This is called The Trojan. Daddy can be my hairstylist, Mummy only sweep my hair sideways, like nerd. How to talk to girls like dat? Was supposed to meet Aiwah and Waihar at Seok Shin's place on Saturday but turned back because the jam was quite bad, so we ended up jalan-jalan at City Square. It would've been a fantastic gathering... what a pity. Hope there's a next time ya.

Is there enough space for breathing?

Can things get any worse? The floods, the increasing bank loan interest rate, the crimes, the traffic, the oil price, oh, gahmen, hit us, hit us hard, c'mon, give us your best shot! Fine, we will change our lifestyles, if you change yours too. KEEP your promise for a change will ya hunny? Angry hor... Gahmen say it's for the development of the nation, why not invest in Proton and Perodua to design solar-powered cars? Hor hor? Why fund RM3mil to send some lecturer to North Pole expedition? Sigh.. the gahmen and its people, such a complicated relationship. We ain't see eye to eye but we have no choice. Makes you wonder doesn't it, where is all the money going to? Actually, don't have to wonder, I'm sure we all know *wink*
SO, let's change our lifestyles... again. Here's what we can do to ease our financial rock:
1. Bring back the trishaws and kereta lembus. The kids will love it too! Fun ride for everyone, everyday! Yippee
2. Shop at Carrefour. They are reducing their prices to help the struggling public like you and me.
3. Instead of 4 maids, just hire 3 maids... Oops, sorry, this is for the high-society-rich-people-who-probably-are-not-affected.
4. Go on diet. We are eating too much. Cut down on your growing children's food intake too. Like gahmen say, we must ALL take responsibilty, regardless of age. No more nen-nen for today! Quiet!
5. Work in Singapore or London. Yes, contribute your power to another country. After all we are a patriotic bunch.
6. Save on new clothes. Wear our parent's hip-n-happening clothes in the 60's and 70's, if they still keep it. Don't forget the shoes.
7. Car pool. And drive without air-con to save fuel. Throw that hair-dryer away, woo hoo!
8. Stop going to cinemas. If you have to watch a movie, get the pirated DVD. Eh, wait, gahmen don't allow leh. Ah, go to hell la.
9. Take train to work, the gahmen says. For those other states without LRT, your problem. That includes people of Johor, Malacca, Seremban, Kedah, Perlis, Penang, Perak, Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak. Eh, this ain't right..
And last but not least.... 10. Stay patient and loyal to our gahmen. Pay our taxes on time. Tolerate the stupidities and unreasonable policies. Accept the way things are. Gahmen must also accept the 'fingers' from the people.

Have a good weekend!

Maam maam!

Last weekend,I cooked ABC soup, mashed up the potatoes and carrots, add a bit of Marmite and mix it up real good. He loves it. Then again, he loves anything that can be eaten. Our friend here is eating solid rice already, don't really like porridge. But amazingly, he still must have his nen-nen at the end of the day. Getting more like father too, loves the newspaper and the remote controls. I don't know what the future holds for him in this world that is getting harder to live in sometimes. I know things are never the same now, and I wish he can enjoy the carefree innocent childhood we all had. Will he find happiness? Will he be a good kid? How much will petrol costs when he starts driving? A parents' questions never end, so will the unconditional love.

Bite Me!

Yes folks, it is true.. the formidable bald fat biting monkey exists. Armed with two incisors,a pair of unstoppable hands, and an exhausted mom,Daniel The Destroyer can damage a magazine beyond recognition. And yes, they seem to aim for wires, sockets and knobs. Macam anak anjing saja, hampalang mau gigit, mak bagi kasut baru tau dia.

Daniel chills out and enjoy his first experience in a hammock. Mummy wants one too.

Ventolin for infants

My heart sank when babysitter whom we affectionately call 'auntie', advised me to get The Sarong for the little restless monkey. He refused to nap, he wakes up crying and is unconsolable, and he is just restless all the time. All this while he didn't need The Sarong, why now? I vowed never to use The Sarong if possible, that'll be the last of the last resort. And reality just slapped my face. I suspected the medication. Turns out... it was one of the medication he just started 4 days ago. The culprit was Ventolin, a bronchiodilator, prescribed for coughing infants with a lot of phlegm ( very common ). Ventolin helps the helpless little one breath easier. Also prescribed if asthma is suspected, or want to prevent. The common effects of the syrup is palpitations, chest pain, rapid heart beat, tremor or nervousness. So, no need Sarong in the meantime! Phew! Poor Daniel... Anyway, this was a very valuable lesson. It makes you become more in-tune and sensitive to your child's needs and behaviour. And to mothers out there, trust your instincts !! I'm glad I did.

Want to jump with me?

Ahh.. it's just one of those days I feel like lazing around at a pool like this. Anyone planning this year's vacation? Or too soon to tell. I'd prefer a makeover for my home sweet home. Oh yes, I'd love a pool like this on my frontyard, but that would mean digging a big hole in my pocket and to my neighour's driveway. That won't be right, especially my pocket. Perhaps a little verandah, with dark wood floorings, a suspended rattan swing to waste the evenings away with a good book, garden table for a romantic outdoor dining and lots of hanging potted plants to create a cozy enclosure from the harsh world out here. Phuaaah! Onz siah! Eh, but where can I hang my clothes then? Never mind, rattan swing more important, I can wear wet clothes.

Till then, I will enclose pictures. Wish me luck!

Little Chicken HAD Chicken Pox

In case you haven't seen a 4 months old infant covered with spots, here it is. I have not extended the picture to his kookoobird to give him some pride. I won't forget those nights my husband and I took turns to cradle him to sleep ( and I love you for that! ), feed him medicine, give him medicated bath and soothe his on-and-off crankiness. Not all that bad, he was still a cheerful baby, never failed to break into a big toothlesss smile when I sang twinkle twinkle little stars to him. There are still some scars left only on his body, which leaves me pondering, he is not eating prawns, crab, chicken or food with black sauce, how come still got scar leh?

Terrible Road Condition in JB

Worst I've ever seen in many years driving in JB. Big holes, small holes, loose gravel, badly damaged roads everywhere! It could be due to the perpetual rain for the past one week. I wonder if the roads are made with poor material and poor workmanship in the first place, hence easily damaged by bad weather conditions. If so, why the hell is the MPJB using so much funds to beautify the second largest city in Malaysia with expensive streetlights whereas the roads are horrendous? Sigh, the price we pay to tolerate the city and society's transition of attitude and the journey to become are real TRUE city.

WHOA!! New JUSCO in JB..again

It feels like I was walking in shopping mall in KL, like Mid Valley. Opened on the 4th January, Wednesday, the date most probably chosen based on Japanese almanac, was crowded like..literally hell ( oh we love to sin) on the weekend and on Hari Raya Haji. People of all ages, in fact I think everyone in JB was there to check it out. Boasted with international brands like... wah, dunno where to start, Guess, Calvin Klein Jeans, NafNaf, Dorothy Perkins, British India, wah dunno when to stop, it targets young execs, wearing MAC make-up and Elle power suit. I know I suakoo, but this is the first time those franchise are in JB. Majority of aunties think that it is an expensive place, "Cannot buy wan, look see only, will only consider if there's sale". I totally agree. There's this high-class shop selling high-class flower arrangement, where I walked in thinking it was selling individual fake flowers, this high-class promoter with excellent service happily told me " Maam, everything in here is 50% off"... WAH, I so happy, woman mah, hear the word discount sure happy wan. Then I looked at the price tag... RM 500 per flower arrangement. So I high-classly walked out of the shop after one high-class round.

Can it survive? Let's see... will update in future, with extrapolated patron-ship results and plotted charts.

Key to Success and Failure

Someone once said, I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone. Oh, how true... I am exhausted today from running around pleasing everyone yesterday. But I was the willing party. I whisked Daniel off to a day of adventure, starting with lunch with my daddy dearest and short dip in the pool. Not me, just Daniel and his grandpa. Like Neo seeing the matrix for the first time, Daniel was ternganga for the whole 10 minutes. Then off to see my good friend who comes from KL every now and then but seldom get a chance to meet up. Lastly, my mommy dearest... oh, mommy dearest. The one who loves saying "Oh, you see your father never come and see me la". The one who loves saying "I'm so lonely and bored at home" one minute the next she's saying "I have no time to wash my clothes". One word for her, attention. But I don't blame her entirely. I should say the key to failure is being the only child of a separated parents, and being a hardcore pleaser. Doomed... doomed.
