Scratched...

Babies are adorable, and they almost always get accused of being culprits in any mishaps, like this deep raw scratch on my face.

10 out of 10 concerned friends asked me if it was this fella who did it...

Nope. It was in fact my star-studded top that killed me with that sudden sharp immense pain one morning. HAHAHAHAHHAHA. Ain't it cool, we mothers are almost always the victim.

Little Home Ideas

About a year ago, I bought this enchanting decor piece from IKEA

that was actually a framed photo stand

which I converted to my jewelry organizer! Well, mostly my fancy earrings...

Looks like there is more space for some more pairs...

My First Hair Cut At Home

I was happily minding my own business, like you know, doing some manly stuff around the house, like painting, touching up some cracks on the wall...

And washing the basin so that mossies won't breed. Man, I'm such a responsible boy.

...watering the plants and nurtuting nature's beautiful creations...

And I'm wearing these cute sandals that had women flock to me like bees to honey...

Like I said, I was just happily doing stuff around the house you know...

Then all of a sudden, mummy whisked me off to the kitchen, put me on my high-chair, and started messing around my hair.

She showed me the mirror...

WHY?!! Why oh why did I let her... Then she told me it's going to grow back in no time... so I wait...

And wait.. and wait...

Boring vs Vibrant

Boring files and folders...

Vibrant files and folders! Makes filing and document organization less mundane.

"I Want To Feed Myself! I can start paying taxes now!"

Daniel loves his spoon, and not the plastic mickey mouse ones. He actually prefers the adult's stainless steel teaspoon. So mummy had to hunt for this plastic dish with rubber suction to keep the dish in place when he attempts to feed himself, which usually end up feeding his entire body and 3 metre radius of the floor.

RM8.90 per piece. Priceless result. He managed to lift the dish up anyway, which proves that superglue is still the best.

Janice & Michael's Wedding Lunch

T'was a beautiful Sunday. And they were a beautiful couple. The food was glorious and the wine poured like fountains. How not to enjoy the afternoon when in good company and good food. I could say this was a little Convent gathering, which I have to say, is shrinking and frequency determined mostly by weddings. The next gathering will be at Eileen's barb's first birthday, which I hope to be the gathering of the year.

How To Make Wedding Favors

With style and budget in mind, it is not hard leaving a warm and sweet impression for your wedding guests. Here's how:

Clear glass tealight holder, $1.90/4 pc, coloured candleblocks, $3.90/10 pc, all from Ikea. Tracing paper, darkwood-coloured art paper, white artpen and fine satin ribbons. Hand-written names add a personal touch to the favors.

Hope the guests like it!
