AEON Bandar Dato Onn

I must say, this is the latest swanky new mall in Johor Bahru. I like. The very much.

I can't find a complete store directory of it, but these are some of the major stores I saw:
Poh Kong (gold), Stolen Heart (jewelry), Sports Direct, Huawei, Switch, Yubiso, Bata, Sketchers, MOG eyewear, Uniqlo, Coco Japan Fashion, H&M, Levi's, Giordano, Focus Point, Selectiv' by Sasa, Justin Footwear, Multi.Tude (bags and shoes, you can find original Anello bags here), Daiso, ezbo, VC Art, Watsons, Guardian, bicycle shop (Ride to Live?) and errm, will update when I go again.

AEON always has its regular and popular tenants but there are a couple of stores which pulled me in.

Ezbo. Quite similar to Muji, but with lower price and less variety. Not complainin' though!

This is almost like Art Friend, and probably the art store with the widest selection in JB.

Taiwanese snack store.

AEON top floor. Look swanky ya?

My favourite section, the stationery.
I saw this and grew wings. Decor masking tapes!!!

Pretty notebooks and notepads. My weakness.

Some cute finds like this card holder...

... and this little...

...toiletry storage container set.

Yep, definitely a trendy stationery section to get gifts.

Zakka Living. About time yo!

Scandi furniture.

Scandi organizers.

Zakka wooden decor.

Wooden Kitchenware.

Japanese ceramic bowls.

Shabby chic tea set and decor.

One of the series.

Love this series.

Scandi ceramics.

Till the next time! Oh there will be...

Coco Rico @ Mount Austin Johor Bahru

After getting my car's water pump fixed in a workshop at Mount Austin, I passed a shop with a familiar sign board. Memory is a strange thing. I don't remember eating Coco Rico's cakes but I find the logo very familiar.

So I stopped to share a slice of cake with my little boy.

Definitely must have chocolate. Absolutely good.

Their cake selection.

Their signature cotton cheese cake. We will come back for this.

Prettiest cake slices I've seen.

It's very rare to find a good Japanese cake shop in Johor Bahru, so if you're in the area and love cakes,  this is the place. Enjoy!
